Rohitkumar Parasappa Savanur
Former Chief General Manager (Instrumentation),
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).
To bring the same discipline, accountability, service orientation and commitment to people into caregiving, while recognising that compassionate care needs a distinct human touch
Guiding philosophy
RK CarePlus is guided by the professional experience and management philosophy of Rohitkumar Parasappa Savanur, a senior engineering and management professional with more than three and a half decades of service in India's energy sector.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Instrumentation and Control from L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad, affiliated with Gujarat University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
During his long professional career with ONGC, he served in technical, operational, maintenance, project management, and administrative roles, ultimately superannuating as Chief General Manager (Instrumentation).
His experience includes managing turnkey projects, plant operations and maintenance, onshore and offshore installations, and responsibilities across different areas of oil and gas exploration, drilling, and production.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, he held a senior leadership position in the Association of Scientific and Technical Officers (ASTO), contributing to employee welfare and organisational policy matters. He also participated in initiatives concerning pension policy, wage revision, employee benefits, and work-life balance.
His interest in social welfare and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), particularly in developing initiatives for economically disadvantaged and needy communities, reflects his commitment to using professional experience for broader social benefit.
This combination of technical expertise, management experience, leadership, and social responsibility provides the guiding foundation for RK CarePlus.
